Bharavadjasana, or Seated Twist

So, hmm. The poses in the second half of the sequence have been those clear back strengtheners, the shapes that actually tone the muscles to lift the chest, so that hunching over toward your device gets less and less desirable. I promise: Your body will start telling you!

Twists are important to do after backbending because you’re able to even out the right and left sides of the body. This pose is important because it’s the simplest of them all, just about, and because it’s just so accessible to you at work. Any old chair will do!
