Adho Mukha Virasana or Child's Pose

This pose has almost no parallel for its effects on the nervous system. This pose is perfect after a long day and you’re feeling tired, if you’re feeling frustrated and just need to peace out a second, or if you want to stretch out your low back and shoulders. Note that I have a block under my forehead! Most people need one in the beginning to keep the spine balanced as you settle in.
