Brand, marketing, and wellness education services

I am a communicator, teacher, and leader in the yoga and mindfulness field. With a start on Wall Street in the 1990s, I transitioned to brand and marketing communications that became more and more centered in wellness as my career unfolded. Since 2000, I have worked in branding and marketing communications, wellness and yoga, and international and local business. This unique combination of experiences enables me to help growing businesses clearly identify and communicate their reasons for being and seasoned organizations better articulate and practice the aspects of their missions, visions, and values. In both cases, I work with organizations to cultivate and underscore a wellness-based culture. My services help:

  1. Young organizations and individuals identify, clarify, and communicate the heart of their own brand identities, and

  2. Existing organizations integrate wellness practices into their daily and management lives.

client list and notable work

My client list includes The Public Broadcasting Company (PBS), National Public Radio (NPR), and Yoga Alliance. I was a weekly yoga expert on NBC4 Washington, DC’s The Midday Show, co-starred in a PBS Religion and Ethics Newsweekly documentary series on the NONEs, and have written on mindfulness and yoga for The Washington Post, Yoga Journal, and Om Magazine. I wrote and drove the brand communications strategy for scope-of-work standards and scientific research at Yoga Alliance. For organizations, teams, and individuals of all kinds, I lead wellness education seminars rooted in the practice and science of mindfulness and yoga. I created the Yoga Lineages series, which examines what yoga lineage is and why or how it matters, and have recently launched a new podcast called The Weeks Well, a podcast intended to help you be your best self.

Short videos on workplace mindfulness practices

These videos are based on work that I’ve done with my clients over the years. My work is rooted in the scientific research on yoga and mindfulness, so most of these videos incudes research and guidance for how to improve your daily life, whether you’re in meetings, stressful communications, or other pressing issues at work. Mindfulness practices are very simple but take commitment at all levels of any organization to have lasting effects.
